On Tuesday, February 19 at 7:30 p.m. PT, until Wednesday, February 20 at 7:30 a.m. PT, Yahoo! Merchant Solutions will perform important planned system maintenance to help ensure the continued reliability of our services. An email notice about this work was sent on January 31.
For the duration of this 12-hour maintenance period: Store Manager and all tools accessible from Store Manager will not be available; store publishes in progress will be stopped, resulting in partial publishes; Order Manager sessions will be stopped; real-time order posting will be delayed; order numbers will not be generated; order confirmation emails and order shipment status emails will be delayed; Order, Payment, and Catalog APIs will not be available; discount offers created in Promotions Center and coupons created in Coupon Manager will not be accessible for merchants to update; customers will not be able to redeem gift certificates when placing orders; registered customers of stores using our Customer Registration system will not be able to access their order history; FTP upload will not be available; and FDMS batch submissions and site statistics reporting will be delayed until the following day. Access Manager role changes and user additions should not be made during this time.
Please note: Merchants using the Database Inventory feature should set their “Quantity can Exceed Availability” setting to “Yes” for the release period, or orders may not be accepted. Your inventory will automatically be updated to reflect new orders once work is complete. Orders received during this time should be checked against available item quantities to ensure the order can be filled.
To modify the “Quantity can Exceed Availability” setting:
- In Store Manager, click the “Configure Inventory” link (located in the Order Settings column).
- In the Settings Section, change “Quantity can Exceed Availability” to “Yes.”
- Click the “Update” button.
- Publish your Order Settings.
Following the maintenance period, you may restore your original settings to prevent items from being ordered when they’re not in stock. We apologize for any inconvenience.
