Important announcement for store owners and their Checkout & Registration Manager settings

In some merchants’ Checkout & Registration Manager, we have identified legacy Bing Ads code causing checkout latency and/or errors. This code is no longer used by Bing Ads and should be removed, replaced and updated at merchants’ earliest convenience by taking action using one of the following suggestions:

1. Go to the Checkout & Registration Manager, Page Configuration link, Order Confirmation tab, Page Message field, look for “Microsoft adCenter Tracking Code” coding, remove it, save changes, and Publish Order Settings.
2. Temporary resolution until Bing fully deprecates this code: Go to the Checkout & Registration Manager, Page Configuration link, Order Confirmation tab, Page Message field, look for “Microsoft adCenter Tracking Code” coding, change any reference to “flex.atdmt.com” to “flex.msn.com”, save changes, and Publish Order Settings.
3. Update the Bing Ads code to Universal Event Tracking (UET) which is replacing the legacy code. Please contact Bing Ads for further support on this topic.
