On Wednesday, March 27, at 10 p.m. PT, until Thursday, March 28, at 5 a.m. PT, Yahoo! Merchant Solutions will release updates to some of our tools to resolve known issues and to help improve your experience using these tools. A list of updates will be available on our New Feature Releases page once work is complete. While we do this work, you may experience a 15 to 20-minute period during which shoppers may be unable to use gift certificates, order numbers may not be generated, registered customers will not be able to view their order history, and Order, Payment, and Catalog APIs will not be available. Store Manager will not be available during this 15 to 20-minute period. Please plan to complete work in Order Manager before the release begins. Work in-progress will be interrupted and not saved. FDMS batch submissions and site statistics reporting may be delayed until the following day.
Please note: Merchants using the Database Inventory feature should set their “Quantity can Exceed Availability” setting to “Yes” for the release period, or orders may not be accepted. Your inventory will automatically be updated to reflect new orders once work is complete. Orders received during this time should be checked against available item quantities to ensure the order can be filled.
To modify the “Quantity can Exceed Availability” setting:
- In Store Manager, click the “Configure Inventory” link (located in the Order Settings column).
- In the Settings Section, change “Quantity can Exceed Availability” to “Yes.”
- Click the “Update” button.
- Publish your Order Settings.
Following the release period, you may restore your original settings to prevent items from being ordered when they’re not in stock. We apologize for any inconvenience.
